Jeeravan is a famous masala of MP. It is vary tasty and very easy to make. We can sprinkle it on salads, papad, roti or poha too.

1tbsp fennel seeds
1 tbsp coriander seeds
1 tbsp cumin seeds
1 mace
4 green cardamom
10 whole black pepper corns
8 cloves
1 black big cardamom
4 bay leaves
1 inch cinnamon stick
5-6 dry whole red chilis
1/4 tsp turmeric pwd
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp hing
1/2 tsp black salt
1tsp salt
1tbsp Aamchur powder
1 tsp dry ginger powder
Add fennel, coriander seeds, cumin seeds in a pan and dry roast on low flame for a minute.

Add black pepper corns, cloves, black cardamom, green cardamom, mace, bay leaves, cinnamon stick, nutmeg in the same pan and roast for a minute. Switch off the flame and add red chilis, turmeric and roast for a minute. Add hing, salt, black salt, aamchur powder, ginger powder and mix. Allow to cool completely.

Add in a mixer jar and prepare a fine powder. Sieve and our homemade tasty jeeravan masala is ready.
