This is healthy and tasty soup, perfect for weight loss and immune boosting.

½ cup yellow moong dal soaked for 30 minutes
1 chopped tomato
1 chopped onion
1 cup chopped bottle gourd
1 green chili
3-4 garlic cloves
1 inch grated ginger
1 tsp salt
½ tsp turmeric powder
½ tsp oil
For tempering –
1tsp oil
1 sliced onion
¼ cup French onion’s greens
¼ cup French beans
½ cup shredded cabbage
¼ cup grated carrots
½ cup blanched green peas
½ tsp salt
1 lemon juice
½ tsp black pepper powder
Add soaked moong dal in a pressure cooker, add tomatoes, onion, garlic, ginger, bottle gourd, salt, turmeric powder, 1tsp olive oil and 500ml water. Close the lid and take 2-3 whistles on medium flame. Switch off the flame. Allow to cool down, open the lid and mash dal with a spoon. Keep aside.

For tempering –

Heat oil in a pan, add sliced onion and cook for a few seconds. Add French onion’s greens, French beans, carrots, cabbage and sauté for a minute, add salt and black pepper powder and mix.

Mix prepared tempering in a pressure cooker and serve hot healthy and tasty soup.
