For Aamras – 2 mangoes roughly chopped 2tbsp sugar (or as per taste) 1.5tsp cardamom powder Ice cubes For Puri- 1.5 cup whole wheat flour 2tbsp sooji 1tsp salt 1tsp ajwayan 1tsp oil Oil for frying
For aamras add mango pieces, sugar, cardamom powder, ice cubes in a mixer jar and blend it, if needed add water and keep in the fridge. For puri, mix wheat flour, sooji, salt, ajwayan in a bowl, gradually add water and prepare a tight dough. Cover and keep aside for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes add 1tsp oil and make the dough smooth. Prepare small crack free balls from the dough. Grease the balls from oil and keep them covered. Roll the balls with a rolling pin in small discs. Fry them in hot on medium to high flame. Serve hot crispy puris with chilled aamras and enjoy!!
