500ml milk 2 meetha paan + 2 betel leaves ½ cup sugar 2 bread slices 2 tbsp corn flour For decoration – colourful tutti frutti, dry rose petals
Remove brown sides from the bread slices, grind in a mixer. Keep aside. Add Milk in a pan, add bread crumbs, corn flour and sugar. Mix nicely. Keep on flame and boil on high flame, stir continuously. Now cook the milk mixture on low flame for 5-6 minutes, till the mixture thickens. Switch off the flame and allow it to cool completely. Take meetha paan and paan leaves in a small mixer jar, grind in a smooth paste. Add thick milk if needed. Add pan paste in thick milk and mix nicely, add green food colour if you wish, transfer the mixture in a box and keep in the freezer section for 3 hours. After 3 hours take out the ice cream mixture from the freezer, transfer in a big mixer jar, churn for 3-4 minutes to make it light and airy. Transfer this paan mixture in an airtight container and keep in the freezer for overnight. Take out the paan ice cream from the freezer, scoop out or cut in slices, garnish with coloured tutti fruity and enjoy homemade paan ice cream.
