Prepare pillow soft & white steamed idli with home made batter which tastes better than market one

Idli Batter
Salt to taste
Grease the idli mould with oil.

Add salt in idli batter mix well.

Fill the moulds with idli batter.

Boil water in a steamer or an idli maker and place the idli mould plates in it carefully.

Steam them for 10 minutes on high flame and on low flame for 5 minutes.

Check with the toothpick. If it comes out clean it means the idlis are done.

Take them out and allow to cool for 7-8 minutes.

Demould the idlis with the help of a spoon.
