1+1/4 cup Whole wheat flour ½ powdered sugar ½ cup ghee ½ tsp baking soda ½ cup desiccated coconut Canned cherries 1-2tbsp milk
Mix powdered sugar and ghee nicely. Add whole wheat flour, desiccated coconut, baking soda and mix nicely. Add 1-2 tbsp milk and prepare a soft dough. Prepare lemon size balls and press gently. Prepare all the cookies in the same way. Cover the cookies with desiccated coconut and place a cherry in the centre. Preheat kadai for 10 minutes on low flame. For oven baking preheat oven on 180 degree. Place prepared cookies on baking plates, Keep prepared plates in preheated oven or kadai, cover and allow to bake for 18-20 minutes in oven on 180 degrees or in kadai bake for 15-18 minutes on low flame. Take out baked cookies from oven and kadai, allow to cool for 5 minutes on plate, transfer them on a wire rack and allow to cool completely. Crispy coconut cookies are ready to serve. Store in an airtight container.
