Korma roti is perfect for winter season. Korma roti is generally made with leftover moong dal chilka, which are full of fiber, protein and taste good too. This recipe is from Rajasthan. ½ cup green moong dal 2 cups wheat flour 1tsp red chilli powder 1 tsp salt ½ tsp haldi 1 tsp Ajwayan 2 tsp oil
Grind coarsely green moong dal in a mixer jar. Soak dal in water, keep aside for 1-2 hours. After 2 hours, add wheat flour, red chili powder, salt, salt, ajwayan in soaked dal, knead a soft dough, if needed add water. Add oil and make the dough smooth. Cover and keep aside for some time. After some time prepare small balls from the dough and roll in a thick small disc with rolling pin. Roast on medium hot tava on low flame from both sides. Apply oil and roast till brown marks appear or till the korma roti become crispy. Remove from tava and serve hot.
