Food Connection is presenting Oats Chilla recipe with step by step detailed description of each process. Quick and easy chilla recipe made with oats, gram flour, wide range of herbs. Chilla is a savory pancake that is made with gram flour or different lentils. Oats Chilla is an healthy alternative and an extension to the traditional besan ka chilla.

1 cup oats
2tbsp besan
1 finely chopped onion
1 chopped green chili
Fresh coriander
½ tsp black pepper powder
¼ tsp turmeric powder
½ tsp red chilli powder
Oil for greasing
Grind oats powder in a mixer jar, add in a bowl. Add besan, chopped onion, green chili, fresh coriander, salt, red chilli powder, black pepper powder, turmeric powder and prepare a thick batter using water. Cover and keep aside for 10 minutes.

Grease a tava and pour a spoonful oats batter on tava, allow to cook and flip and cook for another few seconds and serve hot.
