Masala dosa is stuffed dosa. The stuffing is made from boiled potatoes with a seasoning of multiple items. But our today's recipe is for fasting days Masala Dosa. Today we are making a fasting food masala dosa with chutney. You can enjoy this crispy masala dosa during fasting days. Presenting step by step process of the full recipe, hope all will try to make this at home during our fasting days.

For dosa-
1 cup samak rice / bhagar
½ cup sabudana / sago
½ cup curd
1tsp rock salt
For chutney –
¼ cup coconut
1tbsp peanuts
1 green chilli
1 tsp lemon juice
Fresh coriander
¼ tsp salt
1tsp oil
½ tsp cumin seeds
Curry leaves
For aloo masala –
3 medium size boiled and mashed aloo
1 green chili chopped
1 tbsp oil
Curry leaves
1 tsp salt
1tsp black pepper powder
Fresh coriander
Lemon juice
Soak sabudana and bhagar for 4 hours, take out all water and add in a mixer jar, add curd, salt and grind in a fine paste, add water if needed. Transfer in a bowl. Cover and keep aside for an hour.

For chutney, add coconut, peanuts, green chili, fresh coriander, lemon juice, salt and water in a small jar, grind in a smooth paste.

For tadka heat a tsp oil, crackle cumin seeds and curry leaves, switch off the flame and add tadka in chutney. Mix.

For aloo masala, heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan, crackle cumin seeds, add curry leaves, green chillies, cook for a minute, add boiled and mashed potatoes, salt, black pepper powder, mix and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add fresh coriander and lemon juice and switch off the flame.

For dosa, heat tava on medium flame, pour a spoonful dosa batter on centre of tawa, spread the batter with the backside of spoon in outwards motion, allow to cook on high flame till brown marks, apply oil if you wish, remove dosa from tava.

Serve hot and crispy vrat wala dosa with coconut chutney and aloo masala.
