Prepare tasty, crispy digestive, healthy biscuits at home with whole wheat flour and ghee. You can prepare them in kadai pressure cooker or in oven too. It is very easy recipe and perfect for beginners.

1 cup = 250ml
1 cup / 125gram whole wheat flour / genhu aata
1/4 cup / 60gram ghee
1/3 cup / 65gram powdered sugar
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 cup milk or as needed
Add one cup whole wheat flour, 1/3 cup powdered sugar, 1/2 tsp baking powder in a bowl and mix nicely.

Add 1/4 cup ghee and mix. Gradually add milk and prepare a hard dough. Do not overmix.

Now roll the dough in a thick disc with a rolling pin. Cut with a round cutter and mark with a cookie stamp as shown in the video. Or you can cut as per your choice.

Remove prepared biscuits from the sheet and place on a baking tray.

Collect the leftover dough and make more aata biscuits.

I have prepared two baking trays here. One for pressure cooker or kadai and second tray for oven baking.

Bake the biscuits in a preheated oven at 180 degree for 15-18 minutes.

Bake in a kadai for 20 minutes on low flame.

Take out from kadai after 20 minutes. Take out biscuits from oven too.

After 2 minutes transfer the baked biscuits on wire rack and allow to cool completely.

Bake leftover dough biscuits in the same manner. Biscuits are completely cool down. Store in an

airtight container and enjoy with hot tea.
