Easy and tasty gulabjamun recipe. These gulabjamuns are prepared without khoya or mawa. These gulabjamuns are soft and spongy and perfect for celebrating occasions like Rakshabandhan, Diwali, Holi.

For dough 3/4 cup milk powder 1/4 cup milk 1/8 cup ghee For sugar syrup - 1.5 cup sugar 1 cup water Cardamom powder Saffron strands
Mix 1/4th cup milk, 1/8th cup ghee, 3/4th cup milk powder. Cook the mixture on low flame till all the mixture comes together. Switch off the flame, allow to cool. For sugar syrup, Add 1.5 cup sugar, 1 cup water in a pan, allow to cook till sugar dissolves properly. Allow to cook on low flame for 5-6 minutes for perfect sugar syrup. Add saffron strands and cardamom powder. Switch off the flame, keep aside. Transfer milk powder mixture in a plate, mix 2tbsp maida / corn flour, 1/8th tsp baking powder. Mash and knead, prepare a soft dough, add milk if needed. Divide the dough in 12-15 equal parts. Prepare smooth and crack free balls. Keep covered all the balls. Fry the balls in medium hot oil / ghee on low flame. Do not touch them immediately with them spoon. Rotate wok and fry as shown in video. Fry all the balls till they become dark brown. Take out fried balls from the wok and dip in hot sugar syrup. Keep cover for 30 minutes. Super soft gulabjamuns are ready to serve.
