Doughnuts are one of the most favorite desserts of kids. Kids can eat donuts any time, anywhere. Doughnuts are prepared with bleached flour, yeast and lot of butter. Today we are coming with a tasty, healthy donut recipe which is prepared with healthy whole wheat flour, healthy olive oil and peanut butter. 200gram whole wheat flour (genhu aata) 1/4 cup powdered sugar 1 tsp salt 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/4 tsp baking soda 2 tbsp extra light olive oil For garnishing- Creamy Peanut Butter Chopped salted peanuts Pistachio flakes
Mix 200gram wheat flour, 1tsp salt, 1/4 cup powdered sugar, 1/2tsp baking powder, 1/4tsp baking soda in a bowl. Gradually add milk and prepare a soft dough. Add 2tbsp light olive oil and make the dough smooth. Cover and keep aside for 10 minutes. Uncover the dough and knead for a minute. Dust the rolling board with dry flour. Roll the dough in a thick disc. Cut doughnut with a doughnut cutter or a bowl, make a hole with a small round cutter. Prepare all the doughnuts in the same way. Keep them covered with a kitchen napkin for 10 minutes. Heat extra light olive oil on medium flame. Fry in medium hot oil on medium flame till they turn golden dark brown. Take out all fried doughnuts from the oil. Fry all the doughnuts in the same way. Allow to cool. Apply creamy peanut butter on fried doughnuts. Garnish doughnuts with roasted salted chopped peanuts and pistachio flakes. Tasty and healthy peanut butter doughnuts are ready.
