Mint is a very flavorful and healthy herb. It has many beneficial benefits, specially in summer sesaon. Since, it is not available in all season so we are showing how to dry mint leaves and store them for a year. Today we are coming with 2 simple ways of making mint powder at home.

Fresh Mint leaves
Clean the fresh mint, remove dirt and spoiled and yellow leaves from them.

In first method spread mint leaves on a cotton cloth or a news paper. Keep in shade and allow to dry for 2-3 days.

In second method spread mint leaves on a microwave safe plate. Microwave mint leaves for 2 minutes on high power. Take out form oven flip all the mint leaves and again microwave for 2 minutes on high power. Now mint leaves have dried enough, flip and microwave again for 1 minute on high power.

Take out from oven, now mint leaves are dried completely. Leave aside for 2 minutes and crush them. Discard the thick dry stems. Dry mint powder is ready. Store in an air tight box. It will remain fresh for 2-3 months.
