Boiled and mashed potatoes Bread slices Green coriander sandwich chutney Tomato ketchup 2 cups of gram flour (besan) Red chilli powder Salt A pinch of baking soda 1 tsp aamchur powder
For pakoda batter, mix gram flour, salt, red chilli powder, a pinch of baking soda in a bowl. Gradually add water and prepare a thick batter. Boil and mash potatoes. Add red chilli powder, garam masala, salt, aamchur powder in boil and mashed potatoes, mix all ingredients nicely. Remove bread sides with the help of knife or scissors. Use leftover bread sides in making bread crumbs. Apply green coriander sandwich chutney on one bread slice and apply tomato ketchup on second bread. Place a thin layer of aloo masala on a bread and cover with second bread, press gently. Obliquely cut the bread. Dip stuffed bread slices in besan batter and fry in hot oil on high flame. Flip and fry from other side, take out from oil. Cut the bread pakoda and enjoy hot with chutney or ketchup.
