These crispy smiles are perfect snack for our kids, prepare them with boiled potatoes and sooji only. Can store in freezer for later use too.

1/2 cup sooji / rava / semolina
2 boiled potatoes
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup of corn flour (approx.)
Soak 1/2 cup of suji in 1/2 cup of hot water. Mix and cover. Keep aside for 10 minutes.

Uncover and mix soaked sooji, grate boiled potatoes in soaked sooji.

Add salt, corn flour and mix all the ingredients and prepare a soft dough. Add more corn flour if needed.

Grease hands with oil, make dough smooth. Grease the rolling board with oil. Roll the sooji aloo dough in a thick disc. Cut in small circle with a round cutter. Make eyes with a straw and smiley with a greased spoon as shown in the video.

Remove prepared smiles from the board and place on a plate. Keep them in freezer.

Now you can store them in a container and keep in freezer for months. And fry whenever you want to eat them.

Fry sooji aloo smileys in medium hot oil on medium flame. Take out fried sooji potato smilies from oil.

Tasty homemade sooji aloo smilies are ready to eat. Serve hot!!
