Beat the heat this summer with homemade, rich, tasty, fresh mango ice cream. This mouth melting ice cream is very easy to make with simple ingredients. This mango ice cream is just like a market style ice cream. Uploaded by admin on 22-Apr-2020.
1/2 liter full fat milk 10 tsp of sugar or to taste 1 cup thick fresh mango pulp 1/2 cup of finely chopped mango pieces 2 tbsp of corn flour 2 tbsp of GMS 1/4 tsp CMC
Add milk in a vessel, take out 1/2 cup milk in a bowl. CMC - For thickening milk and stabilising ice-creams. GMS - For smoothness of ice-cream and for texture and shining, this is plant based. Add 1/4 tsp CMC, 2 tbsp GMS, 2 tbsp cornflour in milk in bowl. Mix. Boil vessel's milk. Add milk mixture in boiled milk and mix continuously. Cook on low flame till milk thickens. Switch off the flame. Stir continuously and allow to cool. When milk cools down add sugar and mix. Pour the prepared milk batter in a container and keep in deep freezer for 5-6 hours. Take out from freezer and leave aside for 10 minutes, cut in small pieces with a knife. Transfer the semi melted mixture in a big bowl, whip this chilled mixture with an electric beater. Slowly increase the speed of beater and beat till the mixture becomes more than double. Add 1 cup fresh mango pulp in whipped mixture and mix nicely. Add 1/2 cup finely chopped mango pieces and mix. Pour this ice cream mixture in an airtight container, garnish with mango pieces, close the lid and keep in freezer for 6-7 hours. Take out the ice cream container from freezer. Scoop out the ice-cream and serve immediately.
