Healthy, Fasting and delicious food combination of all, wow what a great idea. Yes today we are going to prepare the unique Sandwich recipe which is healthy, food for fasting and very tasty. We will prepare our sandwich without using much ghee or oil. This shivratri or on any day you can prepare this easy vrat ka khana, which can be prepared in few minutes very easily and quickly and that too with very less oil or ghee. 1/2 cup water chestnut flour (singhade ka aata) 1 boiled and grated potato 1/2 cup of grated bottle gourd (lauki) 1 chopped green chilli 1 tsp rock salt (sendha namak) 1/2 tsp black pepper powder 1 tsp ghee
Add water chestnut flour, rock salt, black pepper powder, green chilli, grated lauki, boiled and grated potatoes, fresh curd in a bowl. Gradually add water and prepare a thin batter. Add prepared batter in a pan and allow to cook on medium flame till it thickens. Stir continuously. Add 1 tsp ghee in the mixture. The mixture is thick in consistency. Switch off the flame. Pour the cooked mixture in a greased plate or in a mould. Flatten the mixture and keep aside for an hour. Run a knife in the sides of pan. Gently demould. Cut in squares and and make a diagonal cut. Grease the grill pan with oil or ghee. Place the triangles on grill pan. Allow to cook on medium flame. Grease the triangles with ghee from top sides. Flip and cook from other side too. Tasty vrat ka nashta is ready to serve.
