This whole wheat flour jaggery soup is perfect for winters. It will also helps you in flu, cold and cough. This hot soup is healthy and easy to make.

1 tsp ghee (clarified butter)
2 tbsp whole wheat flour (genhu aata)
1/2 cup jaggery (gud)
5-6 Black pepper corns
2 cloves
A small piece of dry ginger (saunth)
2-3 chopped almonds
Add 500 ml water and 1/2 cup of chopped jaggery in a pan.

Allow the jaggery to melt on medium flame.

Sieve the jaggery water and keep aside.

Add 1 tsp ghee and 2 tbsp whole wheat flour in a wok, roast the flour on low flame till the flour colour changes to light brown.

Add jaggery water in roasted whole wheat flour and mix continuously. Allow to cook on low flame for 10 minutes or till it thickens.

Crush 6-7 black pepper corns, 2-3 cloves, a small piece of dry ginger in a mortar.

Chop 2-3 almonds.

Jaggery, wheat flour mixture is thick enough. Add crushed masala and almonds and mix, cook for 2 minutes.

Whole wheat jaggery soup is ready, serve hot.
