Pizza is loved by all and by people of all age groups, specially kids. Today we are going to show a simple and easy recipe of healthy pizza, which can be prepared with easily available ingredients in our kitchen pantry.
This pizza is prepared with suji/ rava/ semolina which is a healthy ingredient. And the best part of this recipe is, this pizza prepared without oven and yeast. Uploaded by admin on 13-Nov-2019.
For pizza base 1 cup semolina/ sooji/ rava 2 tbsp fresh curd/ dahi 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp salt Luke warm water For toppings - Tomato onions capsicum corn kernels Mozzarella cheese Red chilli flakes Oregano or pizza herbs
We will use semolina for making pizza base. Transfer the semolina in a mixer jar and grind it. Transfer the grounded semolina in a vessel. Add 1/4 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp powdered sugar and mix. Add 2 tbsp curd and mix. Add luke warm water and prepare a soft and sticky dough. Knead the dough for 2-3 minutes. Add 1 tsp ghee or butter in the dough and knead the dough. Prepare a ball and cover the dough and keep aside. Uncover and knead the dough for a minute. Prepare a ball, dust the board with dry flour and roll in a thick disc. Cut with a round cutter or bowl. Roast the small semolina disc on medium hot tawa on low flame for 2 minutes. Flip and roast from other side too. Now remove semolina pizza base from tawa. Healthy semolina pizza base and toppings are ready. Spread pizza sauce or tomato ketchup and mozzarella cheese on sooji pizza base. Place tomato, capsicum, onion pieces and sweet corn kernels on cheese. Sprinkle red chilli flakes, oregano over it. Grease tava with oil / butter/ ghee. Place prepared semolina pizza discs on medium hot tava. Cover and allow to cook on low flame till cheese melts properly. Wow!! Cheese melt perfectly. Now mini sooji pizzas are done. Switch off the flame and remove from tawa. Enjoy hot and healthy pizza.....
