1 cup whole green gram (sabut moong) soaked for 4-5 hours 1/4 cup gram flour (besan) 1 tsp salt 2 green chillis 1 inch ginger
I have washed and soaked whole moong for 4-5 hours and drained out the excess water. (Do preserve this water) Add soaked moong in a mixer jar, grind it. Add green chillis, ginger, salt, gram flour in mixer jar and grind the whole mixture in a fine paste, add preserved water if needed. Transfer the mixture in a bowl. Beat for 2-3 minutes and add water for adjusting the pouring consistency. Heat tava on low flame, grease with oil and wipe all the excess oil with paper napkin. Pour a spoonful of dosa batter in the center of medium hot tava and spread outer wards. Switch the flame on medium to high and cook the dosa. Drizzle oil. When the dosa's side are getting brown. remove from the tava and moong dal dosa is ready. Clean the tava with paper napkin and prepare all the dosas in the same way. Enjoy healthy dosa with coconut chutney and sambhar.
