1 cup = 250ml Maida / flour 200g or 1+1/4 cup Corn flour 1 tbsp Baking powder 1 tsp Baking Soda - 1/2 tsp Powdered Sugar - 1/3 cup Sweetened Condensed Milk - 200g or 3/4 cup Unsalted butter - 150g or 3/4 cup Vanilla essence - 1 tsp Milk 1/2 cup or as needed.
Add powdered sugar, butter, condensed milk in a bowl and beat for 3-4 minutes. Add vanilla essence and mix. Sieve maida, corn flour, baking powder, baking soda in wet ingredients. Gently mix with cut and fold method. Add milk if needed. Cake batter is ready. Grease a 9inch x 4inch loaf tin with butter and dust with maida. Pour prepared cake batter in loaf tin. Spread evenly and tap 2-3 times. Bake in a preheated oven for 40-45 minutes on 160 degree Celsius. Take out the cake tin from the oven. Check the cake with a toothpick. Allow the cake to cool for 30-40 minutes. Demould the cake on a wire rack and allow to cool completely. After cooling, transfer the cake on a board or a plate and slice the cake with knife.
