3-4 big and long potatoes 2 tbsp corn flour 1 tsp red chilli flakes 1/2 tsp black pepper powder 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp salt Fresh coriander Oil for frying
1. Peel the potatoes. Remove the sides from top and bottom and cut in thick slices. Now prepare long strips with the slices. 2. Dip all the potato fingers in water and wash them properly and keep them dipped for 10 minutes. 3. After 10 minutes take out all the potato fingers from water and transfer in a bowl and wash them with water. Allow to dip for 5 minutes. 4. Now sieve the fingers and transfer on a kitchen towel. Dap the potato fingers and wipe the excess water. 5. Transfer the potato fingers on a plate. 6. Mix red chilli powder, black pepper powder, garlic powder in cornflour. 7. Sprinkle fresh coriander and corn flour mix on the potato fingers and mix and coat them properly. 8. Fry the potato fingers in medium hot oil on low flame for 6-7 minutes. 9. Take out fried potato fingers from oil. 10. We have to fry all the potato fingers in the same way. 11. Now spread them and allow to cool for 6-7 minutes. 12. Fry the potato fingers in hot oil on medium to high flame for 2-3 minutes or till they are crispy. 13. French fries are ready now. Take them out from oil. 14. Fry all the potato fingers in oil in the same way. 15. Super crispy homemade French fries are ready to serve. 16. Sprinkle red chilli flakes, black pepper powder and salt on French fries and serve hot.
