Kalakand / milk cake is a very famous and tasty sweet. It's grainy and soft texture melts in mouth as soon as we eat. Today we are making kalakand with leftover ghee mawa. This is the best use of leftover mawa. Generally people throw it, but today we will show how can we make delicious sweet from this leftover made. Uploaded by admin on 26-Apr-2019.
2 cups of leftover ghee mawa 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 tsp cardamom powder ¼ cup milk
Add leftover ghee mawa in a wok and roast on medium to low flame till it releases own fat and gets brown colour. Add sugar and mix. Cook till sugar dissolves properly. Add 1/4 cup milk and cook. Add cardamom powder and mix. Switch off the flame. Set in a mould and keep aside for 2 hours. Cut in pieces with a knife. Wow!! this kalakand is looking very delicious. Garnish with pistachio flakes.
