Sandwich masala Toast is one them and very popular among Mumbaikars. In sandwich street food vendors apply two types of special chutneys. These chutneys are tasty, spicy and liked by all foodies. For green chutney- 1 bunch fresh coriander with stems (hara dhaniya) 5-6 green chilli (hari mirch) 5-6 garlic cloves (lahsun) 1/2 tsp salt (namak) 1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera) 1 tbsp nylon sev 1 tbsp roasted chana 1 tbsp salted boondi 1 tbsp lemon juice 2-3 ice cubes For red chutney- 7-8 whole red chilli (soaked in water) 7-8 garlic cloves 1 tsp oil 1/2 tsp salt 1 bread slice
Take 1 clean bunch of fresh coriander with stems. Take 5-6 green chillis, 5-6 garlic cloves, and one inch ginger. 1/2 tsp cumin seeds, 1/2 tsp salt and 1 tbsp lemon juice. These are the main ingredients for sandwich chutney - Sev, roasted gram, salted boondi and bread. We can add any one from all these. Add fresh coriander, green chilli, ginger, garlic cloves, lemon juice, cumin seeds, salted boondi, roasted chana dal, sev, salt, ice cubes in a mixer jar. Grind it. Wow!! So vibrant colour!! Tasty, spicy, smooth green sandwich chutney is ready. For red sandwich chutney, Add soaked red chilli, garlic cloves, salt, 1 bread slice, oil in a mixer chutney jar and grind. Red garlic sandwich chutney is also ready. Take out chutneys in glass bottle or jar. Store in fridge.
