Rava/ sooji uttpam is very healthy breakfast recipe. You can prepare it in very less time with easily available ingredients in our pantry.- Uploaded by admin on 23-Feb-2019.
1 cup fine semolina / suji/ rava 1/2 cup curd 1 tsp salt 1/2 tsp eno / fruit salt 1/2 tsp black pepper powder 1/4 cup finely chopped onion 1/4 cup finely chopped capsicum 1/4 cup finely chopped tomatoes (de-seeded)
Use fine semolina for making soft and spongy rava uttpam. Add semolina, curd, salt in a big bowl. Mix and add water to make a thick batter. Mix. Cover and keep aside for 10 minutes. Add 1/4 cup water to adjust the batter consistency. We need a pouring batter. Add 1/2 tsp eno (fruit salt) and mix vigorously. Grease a non-stick tawa. Pour a big spoon full batter on tawa and spread the batter. Add chopped capsicum, tomatoes and onions over it. Sprinkle black pepper. Cover and allow to cook for 2 minutes on low flame. Drizzle some oil and flip. Allow to cook on low flame for a minute. Flip, soft, spongy rava uttpam is ready. Remove from tawa. It is a very soft and spongy rava uttpam. Prepare all rava uttpam in the same way and enjoy with chutney or sambhar. Healthy, tasty and perfect rava uttpams are ready.
