1/2 cup Split chickpeas (chana dal) soaked for 3-4 hours 2 cups of finely chopped cabbage 1/2 cup chopped onion 2 chopped green chilli 1/2 cup fresh coriander 1 tsp salt 1 tsp black pepper powder 1/4 cup gram flour (besan) If needed Chopped curry leaves
Add soaked chana dal in a mixer jar and grind it coarsely without using water. Transfer in a bowl. Add cabbage, fresh coriander, onion, green chilli, curry leaves, black pepper and salt in chana dal paste. Mix with hands. Add gram flour if needed and mix. Prepare balls from the mixture and flatten them with palm. Fry in hot oil on medium flame. Take out from oil. Fry all the vadas in the same way. Tasty and delicious cabbage vadas are ready to serve. Crispy from outside and soft from inside!! Very delicious!!
