1/2 kg Fresh guava 1/2 cup sugar 1 small piece of beetroot (optional) 1/8 tsp citric acid 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp black salt 1/4 tsp black pepper powder
Take fresh red guavas or you can use normal guavas too. Peel the guavas. Roughly chop guavas. Add all the chopped guavas, 300ml water, 1/2 cup sugar, citric acid in a vessel. Stir, cover and allow to boil for 4-5 minutes on high flame. You can add a small piece of beetroot for colour. Guavas are cooked nicely, switch off the flame and remove from stove. Grind with the help of electric hand blender and make a smooth paste. Sieve the guava puree. Discard all the seeds. The colour and texture should be like this. Add black salt, rock salt, black pepper powder in guava puree and mix. This guava juice consistency is perfect for preserving. You can preserve it for 5-6 month in fridge. Enjoy this homemade guava juice now. Add water according to the taste and fill in glass and enjoy!!!
