Laddu/ Modak is one of favrouite sweet of Lord Ganesha. This year I have prepared paan chocolate modak for Ganpati festival, These modaks are easy to make, tempting and full of freshness of betel. 1/2 cup chopped milk chocolate (room temperature) 1/2 cup chopped white compound (room temperature) For stuffing- 1/3 cup Dry paan masala 1/4 cup rose petal jam (gulkand) 1/4 cup tutti fruity
Mix rose petal jam (gulkand), tutti fruity paan masala, in a bowl. Melt both chocolates for 30 seconds each. This is a modak mould. Apply both melted chocolates randomly with brush as shown in the video. And keep in fridge for 2-3 minutes. Apply second coat of chocolate on modak mould and keep in fridge for 2-3 minutes. Now it is ready for filling. Stuff the prepared paan masala in cavity and gently press. Cover with melted chocolates. Give finishing and remove extra chocolate from the mould, keep in fridge for 10-15 minutes. Demould the chocolates from mould, and its done... beautiful and tasty modaks are ready.
