Generally tinda is not liked by kids and young generation. My kids are also refuse to eat tinda sabji. But today I have given a twist to regular tinda sabji using khoya/mawa which makes it royal and delicious. It is very easy and quick recipe which you can prepare in pressure cooker. This is perfect for lunch box and tiffins for working men and women. So prepare and relish this simple, stuffed tinda curry with chapati, naan or any Indian flat bread.

500g small tender tinde 50g Khoya / Mava 1 Tbsp red chilli powder 1 Tbsp Coriander powder 1/2 Tsp Turmeric powder 1 Tsp Dry mango powder 1 Tbsp fennel seeds (saunf) 1 Tsp salt 2 chopped green chilli 1/4 Cup milk 1 Tsp cumin seeds ( jeera) 3 Tbsp oil
Always buy small and tender tinde to make stuffed tinde.

Peel them.

Remove the eye and wash them properly. Make cross slits in center.

I have prepared all tinde.

Add khoya/ mawa in a plate. Add salt, turmeric, red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala, fennel seeds, dry mango powder, green chilli and mix properly.

Stuff the prepared masala in tinde.

Prepare all like this.

Heat oil in a pressure cooker.

Crackle cumin and add leftover stuffing, stuffed tinde in pressure cooker. Stir, cover and cook for 2 minutes.

Add 1/4 cup milk and close the lid. Take 3-4 whistles on high flame.

Allow to cool. Open the lid. Stir.

Check if they are properly cooked. To check mash with hands, if they can be mashed, it means they are done.

Add fresh coriander and serve with chapati / naan
