1/2 Cup semolina (rava/suji) 1/2 Cup rice flour (chawal ka aata) 2 Tbsp maida 1 Tbsp Gram flour (besan) 1 finely chopped green chilli 1 finely chopped onion Salt to taste A pinch of asofoetida (hing) 1 Tsp cumin seeds 1 Tsp grated ginger 1/2 Cup Fresh corinder 500-600ml water Oil for cooking
Add rice flour, semolina, gram flour, maida, hing, salt, black pepper powder, cumin seeds, green chilli, grated ginger, chopped onion. Add 1 cup of water and fresh coriander. Mix. Keep aside for 5 minutes. Add more water and prepare a thin batter. Dosa batter should be thin. Heat non stick tawa and grease with oil. Mix dosa batter and pour 1/3 cup of dosa batter on hot tawa. The flame should be on high. Drizzle oil. Allow to cook on high flame till brown and crispy. You can see the holes, the holes make the dosa more crispy. Now remove from the tawa. Wow!! super thin and crispy rava dosa is ready. Again heat tawa and grease with oil and prepare dosas in the same way.
