1+1/2 Cup Whole wheat flour (atta) 3/4 Cup Gram flour (Besan) 1/2 Tsp carom seeds 1/4 Tsp Turmeric powder 1/2 Tsp Salt 1/4 Cup Fresh coriander 2 Tbsp Clarified butter (ghee) A pinch of asafoetida
Add wheat flour, gram flour, salt, carom seeds, turmeric powder, asafoetida and fresh coriander in a bowl. Mix well. Add water and prepare a soft dough. Add 1 tsp clarified butter and knead well. Cover and keep aside for 10 minutes. Take a small size dough and make a ball. Dust with dry flour and roll in a 6-7 inch disc.It should be neither thick nor thin. Place on hot tawa and roast from one side as shown in the video. Now roast on direct flame. Missi roti is ready. Apply clarified butter/ ghee and serve hot.
