This black forest cake recipe is perfect for beginners. Recipe shown here is how to make delicious and eggless black forest cake with easy step by step process in two ways i.e., in pressure cooker and in oven

For Chocolate Sponge
For Frosting:
1Cup Maida (APF
1Cup Non-Dairy Whipping Cream
1/4 Cup Cocoa Powder
7-8 Canned Cherries
1/2 Cup Butter
1/3 Cup Canned Cherries' Syrup
1/2 Cup Curd
100g Dark Chocolate
3/4 Cup Sugar
1tsp Coffee
1/3 Cup Hot Water
1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1tsp Baking Soda
1tsp Vanilla Essence
Grease the tin with butter and place a parchment paper on the bottom.

Add butter and sugar and mix well. Beat for 4-5 minutes.

Add curd and mix well.

Sieve flour, baking soda, baking powder and cocoa powder.

Mix gently. Add vanilla essence and mix. Mix coffee in hot water.

Gradually add coffee water in the batter and mix gently.

The consistency should be like shown in the video.

Fill the mould up to 3/4th height with batter.

Evenly flatten with a spatula.

Remove the whistle. Preheat for 5-7 minutes on medium flame.

Place a ring and plate over it.

Place the prepared mould in cooker and close the lid.

Cook for 45-50 minutes on medium flame.

I have filled the leftover batter in silicon mould for showing you the oven method.

For this bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes and for a big cake bake for 40 minutes on 180 degree Celsius.

Take out from the oven.

Open the lid and check with a toothpick. If the toothpick comes clean, the cake is done and if it

doesn't comes out clean then the cake needs to be baked more.

After allowing it to cool, demould the cake on a wire rack. Whip the cream until stiff peaks.

Place a star nozzle in a piping bag and fill with whipped cream.

Place a cake board on turntable. Apply some whipped cream on cake board.

Place cake over it and slice with a sharp knife.

Soak it with the canned cherry syrup.

Pipe the cream over it and flatten with a spatula.

Cover it with chocolate shavings.

Place another cake slice on it.

Soak it also with soaking syrup.

Pipe out some whipped cream and cover the cake crumbs.

Apply second layer of cream and smoothen with an offset spatula.

It needs practice and hard work.

Cover the cake top with chocolate shavings.

Here I am using vegetable peeler for chocolate shavings. Chocolate should neither be cold nor be at room temperature.

Cover the whole cake with chocolate shavings.

Pipe rosettes on the sides of the cake.

Place cherry on each rosette.

Make border for the finishing.

Homemade eggless cake is ready to celebrate the happiness
