1/2 cup Green Moong (soaked overnight and boiled for 10 minutes in salted water)
1/2 tsp black mustard seeds
1 tsp Red Chili powder
1 tsp salt or to taste
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/2tsp Cumin seeds
1 pinch hing (asafoetida)
1/2 tsp Garam Masala or to taste
1 tsp Dry Mango powder (Aamchur)
1 tsp finely chopped green chili
1 Onion finely chopped
2 tbsp oil
Bread slices
Heat oil in a pan, crackle cumin seeds, mustard seeds and hing.

Add green chilly and onion, cook for 2-3 minutes.

Add red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt.

Add boiled moong and mix well.

Add aamchur powder and garam masala, switch off the flame and let it cool.

Cut bread slice with any round cutter. We will need two bread slices for one kachori.

Dip round bread in water, squeeze them properly and put 1 tbsp prepared moong masala, cover it

with another round bread and press it with sides so that when we fry them they remain closed.

Prepare all the kachoris in this way.

Deep fry in hot oil on high flame till they becomes crispy and golden brown.

Take out all the kachoris on a tissue paper.

Enjoy!! Crispy kachoris .... with tea or coffee
