Kesariya malai doodh / Masala milk is the most favorite stall in marriages and parties in winter time. This rich saffron flavoured milk is accompanied with hot & crispy jalebi. Many people crave for this tasty and lovely combo. So try at home with this recipe & enjoy the winters with the warmth of this kadhai doodh

1/2 Liter Full Fat Milk
1/4 Cup Sugar
1 Tbsp Almond Flakes
1 Tbsp Pistachio Flakes
1Tsp Cardamom Powder
1/2 Tsp Saffron strands
Add milk in a heavy bottom pan. Bring it to a boil. Give a stir.

Add saffron strands. A creamy layer will start to appear on the top of the milk.

Remove the formed layer from the top and collect on the sides of the pan.

Repeat this process for 2-3 times. The flame should be on low.

Add sugar and cook for 5 minutes more. Creamy saffron milk is ready now.

Add cardamom powder, almond flakes and pistachio flakes.

Remove from the heat. Fill the creamy saffron milk in clay pot or desired serving dish.

Scrub the formed layer on sides of the pan and add in serving dish.

Sprinkle almond flakes, pistachio flakes and saffron strands on the top.

Serve this hot creamy saffron milk with hot & crispy jalebi or enjoy as you wish
