These mushroom duplex are very tasty, juicy, crispy and cheesy, they are perfect for party snacks and teatime snacks.

300gram Button Mushroom 1 finely chopped onion 1 finely chopped capsicum 1 finely chopped ginger 1 finely chopped green chili A small piece of ginger (grated) 40gram grated cheese 1 tsp black pepper powder 1 tsp red chili flakes 1 tsp Salt Fresh coriander For slurry – 1 tbsp Maida 1 tbsp Cornflour 1/4 tsp salt Dry bread crumbs
Wash mushrooms nicely, remove stems, collect stems and chop them finely. Add 1 tsp salt in boiling water and add mushroom, boil for 2 minutes. Take them out and allow to cool. Keep them on a cotton cloth. For stuffing, heat a spoon oil in a pan, add onions, ginger and chili, cook for a minute. Add capsicum, mushroom stems, salt, black pepper powder, red chili flakes, fresh coriander and cook on a low flame. Now allow to cool, add grated cheese and mix nicely. Stuff this stuffing in mushroom cavity, we have to need 2 stuffed mushroom for one mushroom duplex. Fill all the mushrooms. Now join 2 mushrooms with the help of toothpick. Mix maida, cornflour and salt in a bowl, add water and make a thin slurry. Dip stuffed mushroom in slurry and coat with dry bread crumbs. Prepare all the mushroom in the same way. Deep dry in hot oil on medium to high flame. Enjoy café style mushroom duplex with green chutney / tomato ketchup or any dip.
