1/2 Cup Soaked yellow moongdal 1/4 Cup Sooji 1 tsp Black pepper powder 1 tsp ajwaian 1 tbsp Kasoori methi 200gram whole wheat flour 1 tsp Salt 60 ml oil
Remove water from soaked dal and transfer in a mixer jar, make a fine paste. Mix dal paste, black pepper powder, ajwain, kasoori methi, salt and oil. Add whole wheat flour, and make a dough, make it smooth, cover and keep aside. For slurry, mix 1 tbsp ghee and wheat flour and keep aside. Now take a big portion of dough, make a ball and roll in a big disc. Apply prepared ghee slurry on disc and roll tightly. Cut in slices and press each slice with palm. Fry in medium hot oil till they become crispy, take them out and allow to cool. Store in an airtight container and enjoy.
