300 gram shakkarkand / sweet potato For chaat - Tamarind chutney Coriander chutney Pomegranate seeds Salt Black salt Roasted cumin seeds Red chili powder Lemon juice Fresh coriander
For roasting, add salt in a kadai, cover and allow to heat for 10 minutes on low flame. Place sweet potatoes, cover and let it cook for 7-8 minutes on low flame. Now uncover and flip the sweet potatoes and allow to cook on low flame for another 7-8 minutes, repeat the process for one more time or till they are cooked properly. Switch off the flame and take them out from the kadai, remove extra salt. peel them and chop in big pieces. Transfer the roasted sweet potato pieces in a bowl. Add all spices, chutneys, pomegranate seeds and fresh coriander, lemon juice. Give a stir. Serve and enjoy!!
