This Govind gatta is very tasty rich and easy to make. We can make with simple and homley ingredients in minutes.

Ingredients – For gatta dough
1 cup besan
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp red chili powder
1/2 tsp ajwain
1 tsp Kasoori methi
4 tsp Oil
2 tsp Curd
For Stuffing –
100gram grated paneer
1 tbsp khoya / mawa
1 tbsp chopped almonds
1 tbsp chopped cashews
1 tbsp chopped raisins
1 tbsp fresh coriander
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp Black pepper powder
For gravy –
1 cup Curd
1 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
1 tsp Garam masala
1 tsp Mustard seeds
1 tbsp Kasoori methi
7-8 soaked cashews
1 tbsp chopped green chilis
1 tbsp grated ginger
1 Bay leaf
1 Cinnamon stick
Fresh coriander
For dough, mix all ingredients and prepare a soft dough using luke warm water. Prepare lemon size balls.

For stuffing, mix all ingredients and prepare marble size balls.

Now spread besan balls with fingers, stuff paneer ball and seal properly.

Prepare all balls in the same way.

Boil water and add prepared balls and boil for 12-15 minutes on medium to high flame.

Take them out from water and fry in hot oil till they become crispy.

For Gravy –

Mix red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder in curd.

Heat a tbsp Oil, crackle mustard seeds, add bay leaf, cinnamon stick.

Add green chilis, grated ginger and for few seconds. Add kasoori methi.

Add masala curd and mix nicely till curd cooks properly.

Add 1 glass of water, allow to boil, add fried Govind gatta and cook on low flame for 7 -8 minutes.

Add garam masala, fresh coriander and salt. Mix and serve hot with roti or paratha.
