This cake is very easy to make with simple and healthy homely ingredients. All age group will love the cake.

Ingredients –
1.5 Cup Sooji / Rava
1/2 Cup Whole wheat flour
1 Cup Milk
1 Cup Sugar
3-4 Green cardamom
1/2 cup Ghee
1/2 cup fresh curd
1 cup khoya / mawa
1 tbsp saffron soaked milk
1/2 tsp Baking soda
1 tsp Baking powder
1 tsp vinegar
For sugar syrup
1/4 Cup Sugar
1/4 Cup water
Kevda essence
Add sooji and whole wheat flour in a mixer jar and grind for a minutes, transfer sooji in a bowl, add 1 cup milk and mix, cover and keep aside.

Add sugar, cardamom, ghee in a mixer jar, grind and make a paste, transfer this mixture in a mixing bowl. Add sooji milk mixture and mix nicely.

Add baking powder, baking soda, vinegar and mix gently.

Preheat oven or kadai for 10 minutes on low flame.

Grease a cake tin with oil, place a parchment and transfer the cake batter in mould. Garnish with dryfruit slices.

Place in kadai and bake for 60 minutes on low flame.

Or for oven, bake for 50-60 minutes on 180 degree.

Meanwhile prepare sugar syrup, mix 1/4 cup sugar and 1/4 cup water in a pan, cook for 10 minutes on low flame, add rose essence or kevda essence. Switch off the flame.

Now take out the cake from kadai or oven, allow to cool for 30 minutes, demould and cut in slices, pour sugar syrup on cake slice and enjoy.
