1 liter full fat milk
1 tbsp Cornflour
100gram Sugar
Add Milk in a heavy bottomed pan, take out ¼ cup milk in a bowl. Keep aside.

Now switch on the flame, boil the milk, reduce the milk on low to medium flame till it thickens, it will take approximately 10-12 minutes. Keep stirring.

Mix cornflour and milk in a bowl and add in milk, mix and cook for 2-3 minutes.

On other stove add sugar in a flat bottomed pan and melt on low flame. Make a light brown caramel. Add this caramel in boiling milk, and mix nicely.

Switch off the flame, allow to cool, add cardamom powder and chopped nuts, if you wish.

Fill the kulfi moulds with thick milk, place a stick in filled kulfi mould, keep in freezer for 8 hours. After 8 hours, wash the kulfi mould with water and demould the kulfi.

Enjoy homemade kulfi.
