500ml Milk 200gram Malai / Fresh cream 1/2 Cup Sugar 2 tbsp Cornflour 1/2 Cup Tutti fruity Vanilla essence
Mix custard powder and 1/4 cup milk in a bowl. Add 500ml milk in a pan, allow to boil, gradually add custard powder milk mixture. Mix and cook on low flame for 3-4 minutes, add sugar and cook for 2-3 minutes, stir continuously. Switch off the flame, allow to cool completely. Now transfer this mixture in a bowl and beat with a electric beater till mixture becomes airy, add chilled malai or cream and beat for a minute, add tutti fruity and mix, add vanilla essence, mix gently. Pour mixture in a air tight container, keep in deep freezer and let it freeze. After 8-10 hours scoop out the icecream and enjoy homemade custard icecream.
