15 dry red chilis 1/4 cup fresh curry leaves 2 tbsp urad dal 2 tbsp chana dal 1/4cup coriander seeds 1 tsp jeera 1 tbsp fenugreek seeds 1 tbsp rice 1 tbsp black pepper powder 1 tsp turmeric powder 1/2tsp hing 1 tbsp salt
Dry roast red chilis on low flame for a minute. Take out in a plate. Now add curry leaves in the same pan, dry roast till they become crisp. Take them out in a plate. Add coriander seeds in the pan and roast for a minute, add jeera, black pepper corns, fenugreek seeds and roast for a minute. Take out in the same plate. Add chana dal, urad dal and roast for a minute, take out in a plate. Add turmeric, hing and mix, let them cool for 10 minutes. Transfer in a mixer jar, add salt and grind in a fine powder. Allow to cool, fill in a glass bottle and store on room temperature for 4-6 months.
