Veg Cheese Burger is made with lots of vegetables and whole wheat bun. Now don't with compromise with taste with this healthy burger. They same taste like the Mc Donalds' one. Try it at home with the help of this simple recipe and enjoy

For tikki-
1/4 Cup Finely Chopped Carrot (Blanched)
1/4 Cup Finely Chopped French Beans (Blanched)
1/4 Cup Frozen Peas
1/2 Cup Finely Chopped Onion
3-4 Medium Sized Pre-Boiled Potato (Keep in fridge for 6-8hours)
1Cup Flattened Rice (Poha)
Seasoning- 1/4tsp Garlic Powder, 1/4tsp Turmeric Powder, 1/2tsp
Dried Mango Powder, 1/2tsp Cumin Powder, 1/2tsp Black Pepper
Powder, Salt to tatse, 2tbsp Butter.
Ingredients:
For Batter: For Sauce:
1/2 Cup Maida (APF) 1/2 Cup Hung Curd
1/4 Cup Cornflour 1tbsp Tomato Ketchup
1/4 Cup Cornmeal (Makki Atta) 1tsp Mustard Sauce
1tbsp Oil

5-6 Homemade Burger Buns
For Assembling: 1Cup Bread Crumbs
3-4 Cheese slice
1 Sliced Onion
1 Sliced Tomato
Iceberg Lettuce (Optional)
Soak flattened rice (poha) for 5-10 minutes in water.

Take out the potatoes from fridge peel the potatoes. Mash the potatoes.

Heat butter in a pan. Add onion and cook for 2 minutes.

Add carrot, beans and peas and cook for a couple of minutes.

Add all seasonings and mashed potatoes and mix well.

Add soaked poha and mix well. Switch off the flame and let it cool.

Make tikkis according to the size of burger bun. Prepare all like as shown in the video.

In a bowl, mix maida, corn flour, cornmeal, oil, salt and make a thick batter using batter.

Take bread crumbs in a shallow plate.

Dip the tikki in the batter and cover with bread crumbs. Prepare all like as shown in the video.

Fry in hot oil till they are crispy on medium high flame.

Take them out on a plate. Crispy tikkis are ready.

Cut the bun into two halves. Apply butter on one side.

In hung curd, add tomato ketchup and mustard sauce and mix well. Spread the sauce on the bun.

Place 2-3 iceberg lettuce leaves.

Keep 2-3 tomato slices and 2-3 onion slices.

Place a tikki and a cheese slice over it.

Apply butter on the other side of bun and cover the burger with it.

Healthy Homemade Burger is ready to serve and enjoy
