Ingredients - 250gram Maida 40 ml oil 1 tsp crushed fennel seeds 1 tsp Ajwayan 1 tsp kalonji (onion seeds) 1 tsp Salt For Masala - 1 tsp red chili powder ½ tsp garam masala 1tsp chaat masala ½ tsp black salt ½ tsp salt For Slurry - 20 ml oil 2tbsp cornflour
Mix Maida, ajwayan, fennel seeds, kalonji and salt in a vessel. Add oil and mix nicely. Prepare a dough using water. Cover and keep it aside for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, mix all the spice for making the masala. Add cornflour and oil in a bowl for making slurry. Add 1 tsp prepared masala and keep aside. After 15 minutes, prepare small balls from the dough. Roll the balls with rolling pin and prepare a small thin disc. Apply ¼ tsp slurry and spread nicely, fold and make a half moon, again apply little bit slurry and fold it again, now roll it with rolling pin, prepare all the triangles in the same way. Fry in low hot oil on low flame till they become crispy. Take them out and sprinkle prepared masala over the fried samosa puris. Mix gently and let them cool completely. Store in a container and enjoy crispy samosa puri with tea and friends.
