100 Gram Seedless Tamarind 100 Gram Seedless Dates (Khajoor) 100 Gram Jaggery 1 Tsp Salt 1 Tsp Black salt (Rock salt) 1 Tsp Dry Ginger Powder (Saunth) 1/2 Tsp Red Chili powder 1/2 Tsp Black pepper Powder 1/2 Roasted Cumin Powder
Soak dates and tamarind in hot water for 30 minutes. Make a fine paste with the help of grinder and sieve it to get a smooth puree. Add date and tamarind puree in a pan. Add 200 ml water and boil it on low flame for 5 minutes. Add jaggery and boil on low flame for another 10-15 minutes. Stir it occasionally. Add all spices and mix well. Switch off the flame. After it cools down it will become more thick. Fill in a clean glass jar and it can be stored in fridge for 2-3 months. Homemade Imli Chutney is ready
I am an explorer of food and I feel that people who love to eat are always the best people. I am passionate about cooking and firmly believe in the fact that a recipe has no soul, but you, as a cook, with your affection can bring soul to the recipe. I like to show creativity with dishes which can be made with easily available ingredients in the kitchen.
