Aloo kofta is a tasty and quick snack recipe. You can prepare it in few minutes with less efforts. You and your family will love it.

For stuffing -
250gram boiled and mashed potatoes
1 cup fresh green peas
1 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp aamchur powder
Fresh coriander
1 chopped green chili
1 grated ginger
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp oil
For batter-
1 cup besan
1/2 tsp red chili powder
½ tsp carom seeds
½ tsp salt
For stuffing- heat a spoon of oil, crackle mustard seeds. Add green chili and ginger, cook for few seconds.

Add boiled and mashed potatoes, add all spices, fresh coriander and mix nicely. Cook on low flame and mash the potatoes nicely. Switch off the flame, allow to cool. Keep aside.

For batter, mix besan, salt, red chili powder and ajwayan in a bowl. Prepare a thick batter using water. Keep aside.

Prepare lemon size balls from the aloo masala. Heat oil on medium to high flame. Dip aloo balls in besan batter and fry in hot oil, flip and fry from all sides. Remove from the oil and fry all the koftas in the same way. Enjoy, tasty aloo kofta.
