1 cup = 250ml 200gram / 1+1/2 cup Maida 100gram / 3/4 cup powdered sugar 150gram / 3/4 cup fresh curd 1/2 cup tutti fruity 125ml / 1/2 cup Oil 1+1/4 tsp Baking powder 1/2 tsp Baking Soda A pinch of salt 1/4 tsp orange essence 1/4 tsp pineapple essence 1/8 tsp yellow food colour
Add curd in a bowl and powdered sugar in a bowl. Mix baking powder, baking soda and mix nicely. Keep aside for 5 minutes. Mix 2 tbsp maida in tutti fruity After 5 minutes, add oil and mix. Place a sieve on bowl. Add maida and sieve. Mix gently and add water if needed. Prepare a thick batter. Add maida coated tutti fruity in cake batter. Mix. Pour cake batter in prepared cake tin, flatten the cake batter, sprinkle tutti fruity on the top of the cake batter and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 40 minutes. Or can bake in a preheated kadai for 40-50 minutes on low flame. Check the cake after 50 minutes with a toothpick. Switch off the flame. Take out the baked cake from kadai and allow to cool for 30 minutes. Demould the cake after 30 minutes and allow to cool for 1 hour. Slice the cake with a sharp knife.
