Pizza is loved by all. Today we are coming with homemade pizza sauce, which can be used as a multipurpose sauce too. Can prepare lot of innovative dishes from it. It is easy to make and can stored for 2 weeks in fridge.

500gram tomatoes
2 tbsp finely chopped garlic
1 cup finely chopped onion
1 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
¼ cup tomato ketchup
1tbsp red chili flakes
1tbsp oregano
1 tbsp corn flour
1/2 tsp black pepper powder
Make slits in tomato skin with the help of the knife. Blanch tomatoes in boiling water for 5 minutes, take out blanched tomatoes form hot water and add in chilled water. Keep for 5 minutes, remove tomato skin and chop the tomatoes in small pieces.

Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a pan, add garlic and cook on low flame for 2 minutes, add onions and cook on low flame for 2 minutes. Now add chopped tomatoes, salt, 2 kashmiri red chilis and cover. Cook till tomatoes get soft.

Mix 1 tbsp corn flour and 1 tbsp water in a bowl. Add in pan and cook on low flame. Add tomato ketchup / sauce and mix nicely. Add sugar and mix. Switch off the flame and allow to cool. Grind with a hand blender (optional)

Add red chili flakes, oregano, black pepper powder and 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil. Mix and fill in a glass jar. Keep in fridge for 2 weeks.
