Prepare eggless black forest cake at home with simple ingredients and decorate it.

1 cup Maida
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup Oil
1/4 Cup fresh curd
2 Tbsp Cocoa powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 cup non-dairy whipping cream
1/2 cup melted dark chocolate
1 cup fresh or tinned cherries
For sugar syrup 2 tbsp sugar
Grease a 5 -6 inch cake tin with oil. Place a parchment paper and dust with dry flour. Remove extra flour. Keep aside.Preheat a kadai on low flame or preheat the oven on 180 degrees for 5-10 minutes.Mix oil and sugar in a bowl. Cream for 2minutes. Add fresh curd and mix nicely, mix vanilla essence.Place a sieve on the bowl. Add maida,baking powder, baking soda, cocoa powder and sieve in wet ingredients.Gently mix and add water/ milk if required.Prepare a ribbon flowing consistency.

Pour prepared cake batter in a greased cake tin, tap for 2-3 times. Place a ring, Keep cake tin in kadai. Bake for 30-35 minutes on low flame. Or can bake in a preheated oven for 30-35minutes at 180 degrees. After 35 minutes, take out the cake and let it cool for 30 minutes. Demould and cover. Allow to cool completely for one hour.Now chop fresh cherries, remove seeds. Add chopped cherries in a pan. Add 2tbsp sugar and 2 tbsp water, cook on low flame for 4-5 minutes. If you want to use tinned cherries, skip this process.Use cooked cherries for stuffing and use cherry syrup for soaking the cake slices.Now whip non-dairy whipping cream for stiff peaks with an electric beater.  Now place the cake on a cake board. Slice the cake in 2 slices. Now soak the slice with soaking syrup.Place 2-3 dollops of cream on a cake slice,spread evenly. Place cooked cherries on cream, cover cherries with whipped cream. Place a second cake slice and soak with cherry syrup. Cover the whole cake with non-dairy whipped cream. Give finishing with an offset spatula. Measure the cake’s height and diameter with a measurement tape. Keep the cake in the fridge.Meanwhile, melt dark chocolate and mix,allow to cool. Fill melted dark chocolate in a piping bag.Cut a parchment paper or OHP sheet according to the cake measurement for the chocolate collar. And cut a 4 inch diameter circle from parchment paper. Pipe out melted chocolate on a paper sheet for the cake side and cake top. (see the video for reference)Allow to set for 5-10 minutes at room temperature. Take out the cake from the fridge. Apply chocolate collar on cake sides. Seal the ends and keep in the fridge for 5 minutes. Take out the cake from the fridge and remove the paper from the cake. Cake is covered with a beautiful chocolate collar. Now place the circle parchment on top of the cake. Remove the paper. Place a star nozzle in a piping bag. Fill the whipped cream in a piping bag.  Make rosettes on the top of the cake, place cherries on the rosettes. Beautiful black forest cake is ready.
