Gajar ka Halwa is a delightful dessert during the winters. Must eat sweet for the sweet lovers. It is one of the most popular dessert which can be served on any occasion. It is made using ingredients which are easily available in the kitchen

500 Gram Grated Red Carrots
250ml Full Cream Milk
1 Cup Fresh Malai
1/2 Cup Sugar
1/4 Cup Clarified Butter (Ghee)
1/4 Cup Cashews
1/4 Cup Almond Flakes
1/4 Tsp Cardamom Powder
1 Tsp Pistachio Flakes (For Garnishing)
1. Add clarified butter and carrots in a heavy bottom pan.

2. Roast it for 5 minutes on high flame.

3. Add milk and fresh malai. Mix nicely and allow to cook on low to medium flame.

4. Stir it occasionally.

5. It will start to0 thicken.

6. Add sugar and cook on high flame stirring continuously.

7. When it thickens add cashews, almond flakes and cardamom powder.

8. Lip-smacking Gajar Halwa is ready
